For U12 players intersted in playing for a U12 district all-star team
Hello Coaches & Players,
Tracy Russell and I are coaching the District 9 U12B All-star team. The team will be holding tryouts for pitchers and catchers on Tuesday, April 28th starting at 5:30 pm at High Noon Park.
Tryouts for the remainder of the team will be on Thursday, April 30th starting at High Noon Park. Fields for both tryouts to be determined later.
The team will consist of 12 players including 4 pitchers and 2 catchers.
The team will be playing two tournaments plus the Provincial Championships July 10 – 12 in Richmond. The tournaments are Maple Ridge, May 15 – 17 (May long weekend) and Kelowna June 5 – 7. Parents will be expected to help with the Kelowna tournament as we will be doing all of our fund raising from this tournament.
Players who are interested in trying out must pre-register in order that we can determine if we need to add another day for tryouts. Drop-ins will only be considered if we have enough time to assess them. Priority will be given to those who have pre-registered.
I will also be attending as many U12C games as possible including the Kelowna Icebreaker to help me in assessing prospective players.
When registering please indicate name, date of birth, association where you are registered and the positions you are interested in playing. DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING IS SUNDAY, APRIL 5TH.
If players are interested, they should have their parents email me at email@example.com
If you have any questions, you can also email me at the above email address.
Softball Skills Clinic – March 21st and 22nd, 2020

Kelowna Minor Fastball is hosting a Spring Skills Clinic for players at all skill levels between 8 and 19 to prepare for the upcoming season. The clinic is led by Joni Frei, who has held high-level coaching positions for Softball BC and US colleges. The clinic consists of two days from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday that can be registered for individually or as a package. The clinic is at the Capital News Centre field #2 in Kelowna. This is a great opportunity for high-quality fastball training!
For players 12 and under registered in Kelowna, Kelowna Minor Fastball will pay $35 of the registration fee for Saturday, so the cost is only $90. We want as many young players to take advantage of this opportunity as possible.
